Rocky Mountain High
We just returned from a trip to Winter Park, Colorado. We met up with my sister Tiffany, her fiance' Dan & his son Derek and my brother Tom. It was COLD! The car read -9 degrees when we got there. Delta, of course, lost our luggage with all the jackets and ski stuff. (They did deliver it at 1:00 am that night). The snow was beautiful and our condo was awesome! Brooke caught a cold and was coughing alot (they seem to always do this on vacation) so we really only skiied one full day. Holly thought the snow was pretty cool. Brooke liked running in it til she fell down and got her hands all wet (she would not leave her mittens on). It is a lot of work getting kids ready to go anywhere in cold weather! It makes me appreciate where I live! :) I didn't get a whole lot of pictures because as soon as my digital camera got cold, it would stop working :( Of course the memory card on my little camera is messed up and I can't get the pictures of Brooke in the snow off of it....so here's what I have....
This is where we stayed (actually this is taken from the deck of our condo but this one looks just like it) the slopes are right behind.
Holly's first adventure out into the snow

Brooke found a new buddy!
This is what the weather looked like the morning we left Denver. We sat on the runway for 3 hours waiting to get our plane de-iced. Brrrrrrrrrrrrr
