Brooke's Walking!

She started talking a few steps last Thursday. Today she can take about 15! She wobbles alot but thinks it's pretty cool that we get so excited! I never thought that she would walk before she slept through the night! Yikes!

First day of school

Holly had her first day of school yesterday. She ran right into her class and said "Hi Miss Carpenter!" She sat down and started playing with all the kids as if she'd never had a summer break. It's nice not to have to send diapers with her this year!

Learning to ride...

We got Holly her birthday present a little early this year. She kept wanting to ride her friend's bicycle so we went and got her one. She is doing really good on it except when she tried to ride with no hands and wiped out.

Some new photos of Brooke

Brooke still isn't walking but she has been standing up by herself a little more lately. I thought for sure she would be walking by now. She'll be 14 months old on Tuesday and she is into everything!

Check out this crazy hair that Brooke has when she wakes up! :)

And more crazy hair....Giving her sister a little love...

Alligator Farm

We decided to visit the alligator farm last weekend in the 100 degree weather (yeah - what were we thinking?) so we drove down in the morning and stayed for about and hour or so. Holly loved it and said "See you later Alligator" at LEAST 100 times. Brooke (as usual) could care less as long as I was in a 2 foot radius of her.

Day at the beach

It is hotter than you-know-what here lately so we have been spending plenty of time in the water. We went to the beach last weekend and had a great time. It was nice because Brooke didn't sit and stuff her mouth full of sand the whole time. Holly loves the beach and has no fear of the creepy things under the water like her Mom does. Here are some pictures:

I love this next one!
