Happy Easter!

We had a great Easter Sunday. My parents moved here from Missouri and got here on Saturday night about 10:30 p.m. They drove for 26 hours. My brother Dave flew down & drove their big UHaul truck for them. They were all exhausted but Holly couldn't wait til they got here. She sat out in the drive way waiting for them to pull up.

We went down to the beach to walk on the pier & check out the ocean. It was a little cold but the girl's loved watching all the people catching fish off the pier. Holly was like a tourist stuffing her pockets with sea shells.

We met Aunt Amy, Anne & Allison at the park on friday since no one had school. The weather was AWESOME! The girls had a ball and I had even more fun because Anne doesn't let Bop out of her sight & I can actually have some adult conversation for a few minutes. She's a great little babysitter!!!

Easter Eggstravaganza (& Easter Egg Hunt #3)

Holly's school had a little Easter Festival with another !#*$& egg hunt. These girls are going to be so tired of hunting eggs that Easter morning will be a bore. :)

Holly had an Easter Egg hunt at school. I think it lasted a whole 3 minutes but they were all having a ball. Brooke was Holly's little helper pointing out hidden eggs.

Coloring Easter Eggs

We decided to let Brooke participate in the Easter Egg decorating this year. I didn't trust her with dye last year. :) They both loved it & made lots of pretty eggs. Now how do we all get this dye off of our fingers????

Easter Egg Hunt #1

Jacksonville Beach has an Easter Egg hunt every year at the park up the street from our house. The girls were very excited this year. Brooke & Holly picked out the girliest (cheesiest) Easter baskets they could find. Brooke had so many eggs I started dumping them back onto the ground when she wasn't looking. :)

Holly has been learning how to roller skate. She is getting better every time she does it...but it practically breaks your back if she starts to go down & she grabs a hold of you!
