Boring rainy day

It rained almost all day today so after 20 games of "Hungry Hippos" & 20 other games we decided to let the girls run on the beach.

Happy Birthday Anne!

We went to Anne's 7th Birthday Luau and Holly had a ball. I finally had to hide her grass skirt from her because I couldn't get her out of the mirror. Brooke had a fever that day so she didn't get to go. It was lots of fun and I can't believe she is 7 already!!! Happy Birthday Anne!

Visit from Nebraska

Aunt Tiffany, Uncle Dan & Derek came to visit from Nebraska. Derek was very excited because he had never seen the ocean. He thought the palm trees were pretty cool too!

Derek's 10th birthday

The girls were very excited that we got to celebrate Derek's birthday with him Sunday. We went out for Japanese food and had cake.Then back to the house for some more swimming....

Sea World 7/16/07

We went to Sea World on Monday and it was HOT HOT HOT. It was fun and Derek had never been so he enjoyed it. Holly could go there every weekend and still love it.

The last day - we went back to the beach and more swimming. Derek was a professional boogie boarder by the time he left!

Hospital

Brooke had to be admitted into the hospital last Thursday night. She had a bug bite that turned into a skin infection. Her forehead swelled up and her eye was swollen. She had to have two IV's done for antibiotics & fluids and 2 big shots before we went home Sat morning. She was a good little girl but it was a long 2 nights! The Dr. said she was fine at her check up on Sunday.

Aunt Amy, Anne & Allison came to visit & brought Bop lots of toys. It was the highlight of her stay!

Happy 4th of July

We just hung out in our neighborhood. There is always a good fire work show going on around here. Sometimes you just have to watch for bottle rockets whizzing by your head! Holly did not like the fireworks at all so she hung out about 100 yards away from where ever they were being set off. Brooke was EVERYWHERE terrorizing the neighborhood as usual.

The Zoo

We went to the zoo on the morning of the 4th since it was supposed to rain on and off all day. The weather was perfect and the girls had a blast as usual.

Holly went tubing this Sunday at a friends house. She surprised us all because we thought she was going to be scared. She didn't even want Daddy to go with her. She just wanted to go with Kelly & the other kids. What a big girl!

She's a lot braver than her Mom is in that water! I'd be too busy looking for creepy-crawlers! :)
